National Youth Day is celebrated in India on January 12 on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984, the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day, and since 1985, the event is celebrated in India every year.
The thoughts and speech of Swami Vivekananda won million hearts not only in India but beyond and his famous speech at the World Religious Forum in Chicago is remembered as the basis of human life beyond the concoction of religion.
Saraswati World School wishes to salute the spirit and ethos of Swami Vivekananda and to mark this occasion a roadshow was organized by the school where all young minds of the school participated to bring awareness and sense of responsibility towards protection of the environment and our mother Earth.
